Linda Knowles
I began my agility career in 1997, training with Debbie Spence of Pawsitive
Agility Working School and then with Laura Yarlborough of Chuting Stars
Agility School.  I also spent 2 years teaching at Chuting Stars before opening
Gold Medal Dog Training Center.

I have attended many seminars in agility and obedience including seminars
with Gerianne Darnell, Elicia Calhoun, Susan Garrett, Kathie Leggett, Stuart
Mah, Greg Derrett, Rachel Sanders, Christine Charpentier, Stacy Peardot-
Goudy, Rhonda Carter. Webb Anderson and Linda Mecklenberg , as well as
attending the United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA) Judge’s seminar
in 2002, where I learned course designing and building as well as the
detailed rules of USDAA.  I am an approved judge for trials sanctioned the
the Teacup Dogs Agility Association (TDAA).

My Jack Russell Fox Chase Maddy and I were members of the 2004 World
Team, winning an overall team Gold Medal in Spain.  I also have 4 other Jack
Russell Terriers, Charlie Creek MacDuff,  Fox Chase Megan, Gold Medal Rocket
Booster, and Gold Medal Mystic Miss M, and 1 Border Collie, Zip of Gold
Medal.  I have earned three ADCH, 2 Natch’s, LAA Gold, Silver and Bronzes
with the three oldest JRTS.  Zip is working towards her ADCH and has earned
many titles in CPE, USDAA and ASCA.  Miss M has earned both TDAA and CPE
titles and will begin her USDAA career this fall.  Booster is currently in training
for competition.

I believe in building a strong relationship between dog and handler using
positive training methods.  I want the dog to have a very solid foundation of
obedience training before continuing on with any event the handler chooses.

Teacup Masters Agility Games title at Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 12th, 2010.
I attend seminars yearly to stay current in both agility and obedience.  In 2008 I attended the White Mountain Agility
(WMA) Instructor’s Seminar with Julie Daniels and became a WMA Certified instructor.  I also am a Canine Good Citizen
Evaluator and a member of the Association of Certified Pet Dog Trainers, the Jack Russell Terrier Association of America,
the Australian Shepherd Club of America, the Teacup Dog Agility Association, and the Canine Performance Events
association.
